Busy me...

I haven't really been around the internet for the past few days - something called life has been getting in the way. Work stuff, friend stuff, more work stuff and then just a bit more friend stuff. I like to sleep too sometimes.

But it's been a good week. Visited good friends, met new people and had a good time. It was nice seeing R. again. He's moved to Horsens to live with his girlfriend and we miss him here in Vejle. But they seem to be doing well and I'm happy for them. Brunch with A. was good too. Another old friend who is soon moving away from Vejle so it was nice seeing her before the stress of moving hits. We'll be visiting another friend next week - D. gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 2 weeks ago so it'll be great seeing her again and meeting the newest addition to their family.

I've been busy but things are good. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I might be starting school soon. That would be super cool. I won't go into details until I have all the facts straight but still, keep your fingers crossed for me.

S. is sleeping as I post this. She had the coatcheck shift at the pub last night and just came over here this morning. We have a huge fancy party to go to tonight so we'll be getting ready here, along with another friend.  Dresses and high heels - on my! (I'm not the biggest dress person....)

On that note, I'm done for now. Have to go over to L.'s place to check up on her cat, Ninja. Crazy cat!

Weekend

Hell did not freeze over and pigs still can't fly. I actually spent a quiet Friday night at home! Holy crap, eh??

But it was a nice evening. Quiet. Just me. I made a good dinner and then plopped myself on the couch with a good movie and a footbath. Yups. I treated myself to a spa-like foot treatment and now I have pretty.... nope. Can't say it because feet are just not pretty. Anyways, it was a nice night and I enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Tonight will be different. Partying (working) it up at Tartan Pub in the coatcheck. Then I have to pack tomorrow and get ready for a 5 day camping trip with 17 kids. Then I have 4 days of work after that and then.... vacation!! Freaking wonderful! I can't wait! Lots of plans for the first week I'm in DK and then I'm off to Canada. WOOT WOOT! Gotta love it!

A fresh start....

... of the week. Gotta love Mondays!

I don't want to grumble and groan over it being Monday. Yes, today does mean a new work week and the end of (another fantastic) weekend. But I love my job(s), so I'm not going to complain.

Especially today because I'm off work! Woot Woot! I have a meeting tonight with Pub people so I took the entire day off from Jættebo. Loud music, coffee, internet, emails, cleaning up - how can it get any better right now?

I had a kick-ass crazy weekend with good friends. Friday was a pubcrawl with Pub people here in Vejle so we all got together and had some fun. Contests, assignments, lots of laughs, dancing, singing and just lots of fun. I think the planning commitee (me included!) did a good job and we got some really positive feedback from the rest of the gang.

This was after I was dared to crawl over the bar. He was probably thinking "WTF?!"

Sabine came home with me Saturday morning and we just spent the day relaxing, talking and trying to find energy for our shifts at the Pub Saturday night. Another good night even though I was lacking energy. I couldn't get into the "party party" mood and was really happy when we closed at 5am and kicked everyone out. Another Pub weekend over and we did it with style.

Sunday was a couch day - I was so tired. Sabine was here until Sunday evening and then after I talked to Canada on Skype, I was pretty deadbeat tired. So I went to bed. And slept. And slept. And then slept some more. I didn't get up until 11am today! It was WONDERFUL!

This week coming up will again be a work week with kids and extra shifts. I took on an extra shift tomorrow night (which isn't that bad since I'm off today) so I'm ready for some creative fun with the girls all day tomorrow.

New glasses - woot woot!

 I got new glasses and I LOVE them! They were kinda! expensive but that's how things are here in DK. Expensive. But I love them sooooo much and don't regret spending the money. Totally worth it.

And now I'm going to make more coffee and enjoy the rest of my Monday!!

Happy Sunday!

It's Sunday and I'm really enjoying a "quiet" weekend! Yeps - in my world, it's pretty quiet and I did that on purpose. The last few weekends have been CRAZY with work and parties and the next few weekends will be CRAZY with work and parties so I decided to take a NON crazy weekend!

And it's been absolutely wonderful!

I was supposed to work Friday night but it was a slow night at the Pub so I didn't have to. I could have stayed and partied it up with friends and co-workers but decided to be slightly boring and went home. That doesn't happen too often! I slept in Saturday and basically did.... NOTHING! I could have and should have but didn't! Then I went over to LS's place for a couple of drinks with her and Rasmus but ended up going home early-ish.

Yes.... a Saturday night where I wasn't sick but didn't go out to the Pub. No - pigs still don't fly and hell hasn't froze over yet.

And now it's Sunday. Again, I slept in - loved it! - and now I'm not sure what I want to do. Work on my puzzle? Start crafting? Go back to bed with a good book? I'm going out later on tonight - SUPERBOWL SUNDAY - and it's going to be a late night. But I'm prepared and took the day off tomorrow. I also have to get my eyes checked tomorrow so I can order my new glasses and then I will go to the gym. Then I have an "event" with Pub people tomorrow night but that'll be a non-alcoholic night for me because I have to work Tuesday.

Okay.... so maybe it's not a quiet weekend but it's definitely quiet-ish. Gotta love the -ish! Next weekend - I work and I babysit. The weekend after that, I play, I work and I craft with Sabine.
